Wisdom and Memories is a collection of 20 legacy letters written by family carers and older people, living at home or in long term residential care in Connemara, Co. Galway, captured through The Legacy Project, the first of its kind in Ireland.

Within the pages you’ll find inspiring life stories, family traditions and handed down skills, anecdotes, memories, life lessons learned, values and the moral principles of these extraordinary individuals. As well as writing workshops, all participants had their photographic portraits taken and hand-casts rendered, all beautifully presented here. This book is the ultimate expression of generativity and an inheritance that will transcend time.
